Honeywell Aerospace has signed a 15-year component service solutions agreement with Emirates to maintain aftermarket components for the airline’s Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 fleets. Extending through to 2031, the contract covers repairs and support solutions for a range of components manufactured, maintained and repaired by Honeywell, including avionics and mechanical parts.
Randy Anderson, President Aerospace – Europe, Middle East, Africa and India, Honeywell Aerospace, remarked: “One of our goals is to increase the lifespan of our aircraft components and reduce airline operating costs. With our 24/7 aircraft on-the-ground support and critical shipment of avionic and mechanical parts, we believe Emirates will benefit from a significant reduction in departure delays and cancellations.
