THE UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has proposed a cut to landing fees charged to airlines at London/Heathrow during 2025 and 2026 by up to 6%.
The CAA has now said that it will hold a six-week consultation with the facility to discuss its airline levies and make a decision on what level to cap them during the summer. Last year, the average charges per passenger were set at £25.24 for 2025 and £25.28 for 2026. It now plans to reduce these to £23.72 and £23.70, respectively.
