Curiosity is well known for taking selfies during its exploration of the Martian surface, and its most recent one was taken at the ‘Mary Anning’ location. Named after the English palaeontologist and fossil hunter, the area may have had conditions that could have supported life millions of years ago. This image is made from a combination of 59 images and was taken with the Mars Hand Lens Imager (MAHLI) at the end of Curiosity’s arm.
