A 76-YEAR-OLD woman was taken to hospital after being knocked down in Tarbert.
Police, ambulance and fire crews attended after the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle near the junction of School Road and Harbour Street in the Loch Fyne-side village at 2.40pm on Wednesday May 9. The woman was taken to Mid Argyll Hospital but later flown by air ambulance to Paisley’s Royal Alexandra Hospital, where her condition was initially described as serious, but earlier this week was said to be stable. Police inquiries continue.
