Kadeena Cox goes in the heats of the T38 100m with Sophie Hahn, starting at just after midnight in the UK (as Rio is four hours behind Britain). Cox is set for a busy Games as she is also competing in the 500m and road race in cycling, while back in the athletics arena she is doing the 400m and 4x100m.
Earlier in the evening (about 9.40pm in the UK) Jonnie Peacock and American Jarryd Wallace go in the T44 100m heats.
The first day of the programme also sees the men’s T11 5000m for blind runners.
