Ancient frog discovery baffles archaeologists
The discovery of the bones of some 8,000 frogs and toads alongside the site of an Iron Age roundhouse near Cambridge is puzzling experts. Zooarchaeologists from Museum of London Archaeology (Mola) did not find marks consistent with consumption by humans or other animals on the remains, recovered from a ditch at Bar Hill between 2016 and 2018.
