Each year the football card hobby evolves with new brands, cool innovations, and always a few surprises. As we close out 2018, we thought about some of our favorite new things over the past year.
The list includes our picks for the coolest and most interesting new products, brands, inserts, parallels and hobby trends that released in the 2018 calendar. It factors in late 2017 products that released early this year. We caught up with Panini Director of Football Product Development Rob Springs to talk about some of these products and sets, and what went into creating them. We also take a look at some breakout players and the NFL’s new passing king that commanded collectors’ attention.
