The right reached to reality

2023 is presented as the year of great changes worldwide for the cannabis industry. During the last five years we have observed the transformation that the laws have had to reflect the reality that patients acclaim. The state of Texas has not been the exception and in this next legislative session #88 the opportunity is presented for the right to reach reality. For this reason, in this new edition of Cannabis World Journals we have as a person of the month Mihaela Plesa, a legislative director in Austin who has worked with small businesses throughout Texas while maintaining her passion for politics by collaborating with various organizations such as the National Organization for Young Women (Young NOW) and the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML). The CannaGrow section lists the soil conditions for growing medical cannabis in Texas. At CannaCountry we will talk about the United States, its advances in legislation and projections. At CannaLaw we will look at some cannabis litigation, the Compassionate Use Act (Tim Timmons) and the bills on the horizon for the 88th legislative session in Texas. The CannaTrade section talks about how cannabis companies enter the world of activism and regulation and finally, the CannaMed section describes hemp in the food industry as an uncertain but promising development.
