The Hilton Head Island Concours dʼElegance returned to South Carolina from 3-5 November, with a motoring festival including an automotive film showcase and a vintage aircraft show. More than 20 car clubs filled the Port Royal Golf Clubʼs fairways, and a variety of class winners were chosen.
Best of Show was a 1935 Duesenberg SJ Convertible Victoria (below, on left), owned by Chip Cofer from Tucker, Georgia. The car was one of four bodied by Howard ʻDutchʼ Darrin and French furnituremaker Fernandez, and was originally owned by Madeleine Astor, a survivor of the Titanic disaster.
