But surely no greater honour exists than that bestowed upon Total Eclipse Of The Heart (according to a 2013 poll): the song most popular to sing in the shower. With an instantly recognisable voice, how does Bonnie nurture her biggest asset?
“Well, I never looked after my voice until about eight years ago. I did the Rock Meets Classic in Germany with many big rock bands and the soundcheck was just horrendous. It had an effect on my voice, because the sound guy wasn’t that clever. So I was recommended this voice coach, James Windsor, in London, and I’ve never looked back. He’s wonderful and has made such a difference. My voice is stronger, you know. I never used to be able to do three shows on the trot. It was always two on, one off. But now I’m doing three on, one off.”
