Kim Wilde and Belinda Carlisle are among the stars gracing the third edition of 80s Classical in Millennium Square, Leeds, on 22 July as the 60-piece Orchestra Of Opera North ensemble accompany the performers on their 80s hits. Wilde commented: “Leeds is always such a great, welcoming place to visit and to play, and I’m thrilled to be able to perform some of my best-loved songs in front of a 60-piece symphony orchestra.”
Johnny Hates Jazz, Hue & Cry and Five Star’s Denise Pearson will also be involved in the show which is the mastermind of two familiar pop stalwarts – Cliff Masterson and Steve Anderson, the latter’s credits include collaborations with Kylie Minogue and Britney Spears.
