Looking to take software-based live looping to the next level, Melda’s new looper plugin expands on the usual format in every direction, and employs a big, clear GUI optimised for touchscreen usage. A single instance of MSuperLooper provides up to 16 tracks of host-synced or free-running loop recording and playback, and each track can house up to four loops, for on-the-fly switching between variations and sections using the mouse or a MIDI controller. Speaking of MIDI control, pretty much every aspect of MSuperLooper can be assigned to incoming notes and CCs, including recording and playback triggering, and reverse playback.

As if all that wasn’t enough, MSuperLooper also integrates Melda’s powerful MXXX modular effects system, enabling all your registered MXXX modules (a good number are included for free) to be worked into complex input and output effects chains.
