Spring is the best time of year to get motivated, try something new and surprise yourself – and where better to look for inspiration than your favourite stitching magazine?
This issue of Gold is packed with floral designs to get us in the mood for the new season and, of course, Valentine’s Day! Fiona Baker’s stunning red roses make the perfect romantic gift, while Carol Thornton’s tulips and butterflies are a riot of colour – just gorgeous! We also have our cover star, a northern cardinal amid pretty pink blossom; while our pick of the month is Maria Diaz’s nostalgic Victorian garden scene. This design of three children galloping through the flowers behind their excited puppy makes a challenging project, and one that will bring great satisfaction we're sure.
