KITCHEN TREASURE
PHOTOGRAPH: GARETH MORGANS. STYLING: OLIVIA WARDLE
This is one of the few things I brought with me when I moved to the UK a decade ago. I came here with just one suitcase containing my most special things. This chakla belan, a board and rolling pin for making flatbreads, was something my dad bought for me when I lived in Mumbai and I used it a lot. My hands have got used to the way it feels. It’s still in great condition and comes out of the cupboard almost every day when I make rotis. CHETNA MAKAN
