The Oldham-based Character Options was granted the master toy licence for Doctor Who in 2004, before any episodes of the series’ 21st-century revival were even broadcast. The company released the first articulated action figures in its Doctor Who range the following year. Daleks have been a mainstay of the award-winning collection since it began.
