DOCTOR GOD
Season 19 had featured some gruesome visual effects, including the Terileptil leader’s face bubbling and melting in The Visitation (1982) and copious amounts of green slime erupting from Kalid’s nostrils in Time-Flight (1982). Season 20 continued this ‘gross-out’ trend. In Arc of Infinity, the dissolution of Omega’s antimatter body entailed pumping large quantities of red-dyed clear gel through concealed hoses into the flexible rubber mask. Actor Ian Collier distorted the mask as the goo was pumped through it.
