Imagine the scenario, the highest mountain in the world and I’m on top of it, not exactly miniature I hear you say, but also imagine that I’m shouting about how incredible this issue is, because if I could, I would!

You’re in for a treat this month as the team have pulled out all of the stops to bring to you another bumper issue including nine, yes nine different projects for you to tackle and 14 fantastic features and reviews for you to read and enjoy.

We celebrate the genius that is Beatrix Potter. Did you know that she was a prosperous farmer and a prize-winning sheep breeder? She lived most of her life in the Lake District, and had a love of Herdwick sheep, indigenous to the fells of Cumbria. Popular contributor Ruth Flewelling-Lesbirel shows you how to create fabulous needle felted sheep, she’s assured me it’s a very easy technique to pick up.

And that’s not all as Deb Weissler speaks to Bridget McCarty, an American artisan inspired by old storybooks, fairytales, and animal tales, with one of her favourite authors being Ms. Potter. Bridget’s featured vignettes were made exclusively for Deb’s article and they are simply stunning, packed full of creativity and detail.
