Few of us sail through our teenage years without experiencing boy/girlfriend problems, bullying and friendship troubles at some stage. My own low point was in the first month at my comp, when my homemade gym kit bag (my pride and joy) was put down the loo by the jealous school hooligan. Today, problems are made worse by bullying in another dimension: social media. Which is why it was heartening to learn about a ground-breaking digital solution that’s helping adolescents discuss their problems and find peer-based solutions – it’s a free app forum monitored by qualified adults.
