We farm because we love it. We love getting our hands dirty, producing our own fruits and vegetables, raising our own livestock and being a part of a self-sustaining community. But we farmers are a creative bunch, too. We have to be when we serve as our own engineers, part-time vets and agricultural scientists. So, to let you flex those creative muscles, Hobby Farms announces our fourth annual I Love My Farm photo contest.
To enter, read the official contest rules on page 79. Then, take a digital photograph using a digital camera or smartphone set at its highest resolution. All files must be in JPEG format. The minimum size at 300 dpi is 3 by 5 inches.
So, what do you photograph? Anything on your farm that makes you love it: a barn, your chickens, your dairy cow, the farmhouse, your greenhouse, your garden, whatever. Be creative, and be in focus. Take the best picture you can.
