Results also revealed that 43% are working to improve their existing home, rather than moving to a new one - a number which could be set to grow. Research by Skipton Building Society found a further third of UK homeowners said they saw potential in their existing home and would like to renovate or extend as a result of the lockdown measures earlier this year.
