VERSATILE Salford star Joe Mellor might be sidelined by another injurybut he anticipates returning to the fray to play his part in a continuing play-off push.
The 33-year-old halfback who has been turning out at hooker helped Paul Rowley's side to victory in four of the five matches he played after returning from a leg injury which kept him out of the first six games of this campaign.
Now close-season signing Mellor is recovering from a broken hand sustained during the 18-16 win at Huddersfield which kept him out of the subsequent match at Leigh, with whom he made the play-offs after winning the Challenge Cup last year.
