Your Linux distro is home to many different file explorer utilities. The graphical desktop environments all feature at least one, and there are even lightweight alternatives if you decide to work only with a window manager to keep the bloat to a minimum. Even the CLI offers plenty of different file managers. But to describe Termscp, our tool of choice, as a mere file explorer is about as accurate as calling the Batmobile just a car.
Termscp describes itself as a feature-rich file transfer and explorer utility that supports SCP, SFTP, FTP, S3 and the SMB protocols. This means that if you have the relevant packages installed and configured, you can use Termscp to not only explore the local and remote machines, but also transfer files, all from the comfort of its paned TUI.
