CHASSIS DESIGN OVER TIME
As the motherboard has developed over the last decade, chassis design has followed suit. In the beginning, most ITX cases were designed with that ethos in mind. Either they were all-in-one solutions on the back of a monitor, or home theater PC boxes no bigger than a KFC bucket. That inspired a lot of early system builders to experiment with ITX, building all manner of PCs into suitcases, soccer balls, toasters, older cases, or anything they could find.
