Military Machines International  |  March 2014
In the 84-page March issue of Military Machines International we have an exciting mix of subjects to suit all tastes, from the rare WW2 M26 Pacific Dragon Wagons discovered hidden in undergrowth in a vehicle dismantlers in the South of France to the weird and wonderful engineer vehicles used by the modern Soviet Army.
We examine the German pillboxes of the Second World War that used the turrets from Panther tanks and we look at a rarely seen variant of the Series 3 Land Rover used by South African Special Forces. For those with an interest in experimental vehicles we also feature the rarely seen J5 Pack Howitzer Transporter trialled by the Australian Army.
Additional features in the March issue include a visit to the Partizanskaya Polyanna Museum in Russia, and the Curragh Military Museum, plus a profile of the French Renault TRM 10000 military truck, a mainstay of the modern French Army. Kicking off the year-long Centenary commemorations of the start of the Great War in 1914 we include an article on the use of Vauxhall Staff Cars during World War One, with lots more features planned for future issues. Finally we have our regular features covering the latest defence industry news, book reviews and of course all the latest show dates for your diary.
