Sonic Models surprised many of us with the announcement of a range of 4mm scale BR VIX Ferry vans, which were immediately put on sale exclusively through Rails of Sheffield.
The Sonic team had been developing this model for several years, following on from its excellent 2mm scale version for the N Gauge Society in 2022. However, with Rapido Trains UK releasing its ‘OO’ version earlier this year (see MR311), the Sonic team decided to hold its version back temporarily.
