FORT WILLIAM Sheriff Court last week heard how a man wants to reconcile with his wife, despite the fact she tried to stab him with a bread knife during an argument.
The possible rapprochment emerged during a sentencing appearance for Heather MacLeod, of Glen Nevis Place, Fort William.
MacLeod, 52, had pleaded guilty at an earlier court date to assaulting her husband at their home on September 15, by brandishing the bread knife at him, then lunging at him in an attempt to stab him and causing an injury to his hand. MacLeod had also pleaded guilty to repeatedly hitting her husband on the head later that same day at a property in Lochside Apartments, in Achintore Road, Fort William.
