TEN-PIN BOWLING
After week four of the Lochaber Building Supplies ten pin bowling league at the Nevis Centre in Fort William, Alleycats are the only team at the top of the scratch division with the maximum possible 20 points followed by Council on 18 points with British Legion Fort William and The Empire both on 12 points. The handicap division is much closer with Triple B being the new leaders with 16 points followed by last week’s leaders Alleycats in second place with 15 points and Old Spice Girls in third on 13 points. Individually the best scratch game in week three came from Tony Weldon (British Legion Fort William) with a 163. Simon Hardiman (Rotavators) had the top handicap game of 237 and the best two-game handicap series of 435 whilst Steve Day (Triple B) had the top two game scratch series of 299.
The best team scores of the week came from Alleycats with the top scratch game of 519 and the top two-game scratch series of 983 whilst Triple B had the top handicap game of 795 and the top two game handicap series of 1520 was achieved by both Rotavators and Triple B.
