THE LAST of this season’s local history society talks will feature local author Angus MacDonald from Roshven speaking on his recently published book Ardnish Was Home. It is a historical narrative following the impact of the First World War on local lives.
Angus will speak particularly of the family and historical sources which he employed in writing the book. This first novel has been so successful, he is currently writing another.
The annual trip this year will be close to home at Achnacarry in early May. More details will be available at the talk on Thursday April 6 at the Ben Nevis Hotel at 8pm. Everyone welcome.
