Hugh Cameron (1816-1883) Morvern, holding the donkey’s head. Hugh, known as ‘Croisaig’, from the village where he was born on the north side of Loch Arienas, was descended from the Camerons of Glendessary, who were landowners in Morvern as early as the 1600s. He is seen here with some English visitors at Achranich near the head of Loch Aline.
