Organists' Review Magazine November 2010 Edição anterior

Only €3,49
This issue started with the thought of César Franck’s anniversary, so Martin Cottam has supplied the artwork for the cover and fabulous it is too! Keeping with the Franck theme, Andrew Fletcher
has written a comparative review of Franck’s "Trois Chorals": Andrew is a regular reviewer, and hopefully his thoughts will open discussion. The centre-page-spread is of a lesser-known
instrument associated with Franck.

Six months ago, following on from his Frescobaldi articles, Christopher Stembridge asked whether he could write about the new organ in Venice and the idea soon expanded, and David Shuker suggested an article about the instruments in the Azores: neither have been covered much in the past, so hopefully they will intrigue you and get you looking further afield.

Unfortunately, this is the last issue with an Organ Forum. Corinne Hepburn has written for us for a year and we were hoping for this to continue, but other work pressures have prevailed. We
have appreciated working with Corinne and hope she’ll be back in the future.

November’s musical insert is an apt carol written by Christopher Maxim, "With Merry Heart".
