DOUBLE IT'S VALUE
Most of us own, fettle and drive a classic car because it’s something we love. During our custodianship, we generally aim to improve the down-at-heel; make rigid the perforated; engineer tautness from slackness; and reinstate lustre where once there was oxidisation. Not only is this an enjoyable pastime but it improves the overall classic ownership experience, makes the marque more robust, and it adds value to your ride, which is important when you decide to part company with your loved one. There’s no better way to keep tabs on progress than to compare one’s vehicle to the tried and tested benchmarks: Condition Three cars are fairly sheddy and probably need a restoration, but may have an MoT and be roadworthy, albeit with bits falling
off. Condition Two cars are MoT’d but require work and are capable of being daily drivers, with virtually nothing falling off.
