TAKING FLIGHT
One of the biggest perks of working for Raider is
the trips abroad to various shows and facilities.
Over the years I personally have had the chance
to visit a number of different countries, with
different trade shows or different clients being
the port of call. Each of those visits leads to
editorial content, and this month sees the
culmination of a couple of months worth of visits
wrapped up into one issue. But where exactly
have I, and the Raider staff been recently?
Well the big one this month is SHOT Show. Held
in Las Vegas, the SHOT Show is where anyone
of importance would’ve been this January.
And whilst I personally couldn’t make it due to
deadline commitments, Trampas could, and boy
am I jealous. From the looks of things he had a
great time once again, and he’s got the full scoop
for you starting on page 9.
I myself had the pleasure of visiting long time
friends HAIX once more, this time however
visiting their Croatia facility as opposed to
their Germany Headquarters. During our time
in Germany, we were promised the Croatia
facility was impressive, and we were definitely
impressed. You can find out more about that visit
starting on page 25.
We also had the pleasure of visiting IDEX in Abu
Dhabi, with our main focus being on the latest
advancements from CORDURA. Page 22 is where
you want to head if you want more information
regarding that.
On top of that we paid English tactical gear
retailer Huey’s a visit, taking a look at their
extensive range of tactical gear. If you’re looking

Overall it’s safe to say the last few months have
been busy ones for us, and whilst the jet setting
was a welcomed change, we’re happy to be back
in the office, putting together another great
issue of Raider for you.
