HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Happy New Year to all of our readers and all of the troops out there, both deployed and at home!

I hope that everyone had a safe and peaceful holiday season and that you are all looking forward to the challenges that 2013 will undoubtedly bring!

I’ve been getting some great feedback from many of you out there to say that you’re really enjoying our new fitness and survival skills sections, and the Dealer Check is really paying off for those of you in need of particular bits of kit. I’m always pleased to work with all the tactical dealers and shops out there, and in highlighting them we are directing you to the very best, with a greatest choice of gear, and the service to match! There are still many to feature, and if you’re a dealer I haven’t already contacted to participate, rest assured I will be.

It’s also been interesting to see where are dealers have common ground; one comment that seems to appear each month is that everyone would like to see more UK produced kit. I’ve been speaking to some interesting small companies in this respect already, so I’d say to both dealers and those buying to keep your eyes open in the coming months!

And of course immediately ahead is the show season; the mighty SHOT will be under way by the time you read this, and it will be interesting to see what’s coming from across the water.

And then of course the team and I will be making our yearly roadtrip to IWA in Germany. We’ll have a lot to bring you… and that’s just in the first couple of months of the year!

So, kick back and enjoy this issue which is a really techy one with some great new innovations in both the clothing and gear sections. Stick with us in 2013 as the ride is going to get wilder still!
