A PAIR of peregrine falcons found to be nesting on the Grade II listed Britannia Bridge, which links Anglesey with the Welsh mainland, have forced a change of plan for refurbishments.
Work to install fibrereinforced plastic support beams on the Anglesey and Caernarfon towers will continue, but the central tower will be left undisturbed until the birds and their fledglings have left.
