Marcia steams at KESR
PECKETT ‘1287’ 0-4-0T Marcia (1631/1923) has been steamed at the Kent & East Sussex Railway following completion of the locomotive’s overhaul. The work has included a major boiler rebuild that involved the fitting of new barrel sections and a new inner firebox, outer wrapper repairs and a new main steam pipe.
