MEXICO’S MOST ACTIVE VOLCANO CONTINUES TO SMOLDER
In October, USA Today pictured a plume of ash rising from a stratovolcano aptly named Popocatépetl. Pronounced popo-ka-te-petal, the name means “Smoking Mountain” in the Aztec language of Nahuatl.
