Capturing rowers in the morning fog was on my bucket-list for quite some time. Eventually the perfect day for it arrived, with some snow. At first, visibility was limited to only 25 meters so no crew was allowed on the water. After a long wait, I joined this women's coxless pair. It was their last outing together before their final race - The Hell of the North. After 360 days of perfecting their rowing technique together it was time to part ways, and by luck I was there to capture it.
