NEWS
Waterfront – World’s largest zero emissions ferry being built, busy times at the Tranmere oil terminal on the Mersey, Tasmanian twins delivered, and famous RMS St Helena drydocked.
Ferry – P&O Ferries cuts carbon footprint on ferries, latest E-Flexer Santona handed over to Brittany Ferries, and CalMac order new ships from Turkish yard.
Cruise – Ambassador fleet grows with the acquisition of Ambition, another Aida ship set for disposal, and boost for French cruising.

Pandoro history – A look at the ro-ro revolution on the Irish Sea started in the 1970s by Pandoro, and some of the vessels they operated.
Type 21 frigates – Assessment of the Royal Navy’s Type 21 Amazon class frigates, designed in the late 1960s and built in the 1970s.
Nieuw Amsterdam – Having twice sailed aboard Holland America Line’s Nieuw Amsterdam since 2010, Andy Hernandez recently boarded the ship at Vancouver on a seven-night cruise to Alaska.
Big Picture – A liner of many lives, Norddeutscher Lloyd’s 1939-built liner Bremen, pictured in 1971.
Singapore in ’74 – Recalling a trip to Singapore in 1974 to photograph ships in the pre-boxboat era, including many historic conventional cargo vessels.
