The stacked dc method borrows techniques from Tunisian crochet and linked treble stitches. It works with any stitch height and doesn’t involve fastening off. The stacked dc turning chain still looks different to the standard stitches next to them, but the usual turning chain gap is filled in. I’ll show you how to make a stacked dc at the start of a treble row, but you can apply the methods involved to any of the standard stitches.
Step
1 To start, carefully insert the hook into the first stitch. Yrh and pull up a loop.
