Being a passionate sock knitter, this month I have to start by telling you about our fantastic gift – who could resist the sweetest collection of sock patterns in our extra pattern booklet? I love them and hope you try every one. Talking of great gifts, who’s cast on for Father’s Day? It’s closer than you think if you’re a knitter! Thankfully, if you gather all the yarn you need for our gorgeous men’s textured jumper as soon as possible, you’ll have up to a month to complete it in time for the big day on 16 June. Our Fair Isle tie is a superb quick knit, and what golfer dad could resist our speedy stashbuster club covers? Finally, we just love putting together the spring and summer issues (think beautiful shades, lightweight yarns and sunny outdoor shoots), and we hope to hand that feel-good factor over to our readers for this issue!
