Embrace August

Summer is all about travelling and visiting new or favourite destinations coast to coast. If you’re like many RVers, August signals one of the last times to hit the road before cooler weather prevails, the demands of work kick into full swing, and you have to rush the kids off to school before the start of class.

Don't despair yet! The school bell isn’t ringing yet and there’s still time to plan for a getaway and enjoy the free-spirited feeling that’s all part of the RV experience. One great advantage of
RV travel, especially in a country as diverse as Canada, is you never have to go far for a great experience. Whether you live in BC or Alberta with access to rocky mountain scenery, or you reside in the Golden Horseshoe or the Maritimes where exploring is always possible, the choices of destinations are endless in the Great White North.

Travelling to a favourite location is always exciting, but so are the activities that are enjoyed once you are there. Fishing can be heightened at many prime locations across the country, kayaking opens the door to new discoveries, and hiking means taking steps towards compelling views and the chance to observe wildlife. Plus, at the end of the day, simply retire back to your campsite, fix a hearty meal and then enjoy quality time with family - only to repeat the process the next day.

Although it’s always important to follow provincial health guidelines and restrictions in response to COVID-19, enjoying a free-spirited adventure just beyond your front door is highly recommended. It’s also the perfect way to relax before the next wave of scheduled Zoom meetings and or you have to rush your kids off to school come September.
