Nightmaster lighting products really don’t need much of an introduction, having been around for about ten years now. In that time the company has produced a range of torches, some of which have become really well known. In fact, the name Nightmaster has become synonymous with quality equipment that really does the job it is intended for. I still have one of the original Nightmaster torches that, despite having had a pretty hard life, is as good as the day I bought it.
Always on the search to improve Nightmaster products, Tony Jones - ably assisted by his right-hand man Tom Lister - has come up with another winner. There is certainly no shortage of torches on the market, but anyone who uses night vision will be aware that few, if any, NV scopes or add-ons have adequate infrared (IR) of their own. In some cases, while the level of IR is adjustable, it can be a bit of a fiddle to alter it, particularly if it needs to be done in a hurry. As the infrared factor can really be critical in getting the best out of a night vision device, there has long been a need for a quality torch that addresses this problem.
