What’s the story?
Rather than unleashing a glitzy electric sub-brand, like VW has with its ID range, Peugeot merely offers and electric version of its superbly stylish 208 model. So now, customers pick their paint, wheels and optional extras… before plumping for petrol, diesel or electric. We’d strongly suggest leaning towards the latter, because the 136hp electric motor and 50kWh battery-pack make this a brilliantly nippy and oh-so-stylish little number. In fact, it’s the quickest 208 in the line-up and the hottest model until a full-on GTI is maybe unveiled.
