Better Days.
With longer days and warmer temperatures, we can breathe a sigh of relief that we’ve made it through winter. Although we’ve been restricted in our movements, here in the UK we were able to surf, which made such a difference. More women than ever were in the line-up this winter, and despite the cold the sense of community amongst female surfers was uplifting. In this issue we talk to surfers who braved the elements during the long, cold months, and hear their winter tales. 
Also in the issue, we meet some remarkable women such as the groundbreaking Keala Kennelly – who throughout her long career has achieved many firsts, to new-school Olympic hopeful Brisa Hennessy, who features on the cover. 
Plus, we’ve got advice on how to take your surfing to another level, wellbeing tips, and how being fit will really boost your performance in the surf. It all helps improve your chances of being the next Stephanie Gilmore in the line-up! And, as we look forward to warmer months, we take a look at this season’s summer wetsuits and swimwear – definitely a reason to put a smile on your face.
So, let’s enjoy the warmer days ahead, as every minute of it is going to feel more precious this year.
