UNBOXED: BLOOD BOWL
As a new version of Blood Bowl is announced, we chat with Jervis Johnson, the game’s legendary creator. This salesman-turned-games-designer tells Rob Berman how a fantasy pastiche of American football became an iconic hit.

TABLETOP SCOTLAND 2025
Tabletop Gaming was at Scotland’s premier board gaming event – and we have the photos to prove it! From demos aplenty to toppling Tetris and talks on RPGs through the Cold War, it was a great show.

RIFTBOUND
There’s no shortage of great trading card games in 2025, so do we really need another? As Riftbound heads our way, find out why the League of Legends game is more than just another TCG, as players in China will be happy to tell you!

MEDUSA GAMES
If it weren’t enough to be planning and running the UK’s biggest board games convention, former GP Richard Denning is also the founder and game designer of Medusa Games. Meet the hardest working man in tabletop.

DUEL MASTERS
Modern trading card games are tapping into the design of the most influential TCG since Magic: The Gathering – but it’s a game you’ve probably never heard of! Paul Comeau lifts the lid on a card game that's resourceful in all the right ways.

SMALL BUT MIGHTY
Helvetiq – the publisher behind hit games such as Bandido and Odin – loves a small box. Founder Hadi Barkat tells us why size matters.

LEARNING THROUGH RPGs
TTRPGs are great fun, but have you ever considered their educational value? From The RPGeeks and Science & Sorcery to TTRPGkids and Tabletop EDU, meet the people trying to teach us new things while entertaining us.

PUTTING YOURSELF ON THE MAP
If you’ve only played the basic big-box version of Ticket to Ride, get yourself a return ticket and see what you’re missing. Chris Marling argues that there’s a Ticket to Ride destination for everyone.

REVIEWS
Our extensive list of reviews tells you whether it’s worth your time and money to play Pergola, Mythic Bastionland, Casinopolis, Bang!

Tabletop Gaming

very good Revisto 20 outubro 2025

Bright Reading

Really interesting for all types of games Revisto 25 abril 2022

Tabletop Gaming Annual

Tabletop Gaming Annual lot of good tips and ideas. Revisto 25 fevereiro 2021

Tabletop Gaming

Whilst the best games series are useful, they include a number of games that were rated as average or even poor. Revisto 24 outubro 2020

Waste of 6$ - if you're here for painting tips.

Bought this for the Dungeon Depths terrain guide; the site makes it look like it'll be a step by step to really making these pop, but it turns out to be barely 4 pages of 3 or 4 progression images and barely a sentence of guide for each. Not only this, but there's barely a discussion of most of the terrain, getting the OSL shown on the main pic, or really anything else.

Gave it a 3 cuz it'd be unfair to give it a 1 since I only cared about the painting bits.
