A half marathon is the kind of distance that elicits praise from even the most hard-hearted non runner. Most cities run half marathons and it’s hard not to get swept in this joyous event, whether spectator or participant. And it’s a good distance to train for; challenging enough to be satisfying but not too time-consuming that it takes over your life. 10 weeks to the starting pistol – let’s go!
If you’ve got an autumn half marathon in your diary, now is the time to start putting in the miles and training towards it. If you’re already running regularly, 10 weeks of training could get you over the line at your first half marathon or setting a new PB.
