ORGANIC FOOD LOWERS CANCER RISK
Organic food lowers the risk of blood and breast cancer, according to a French study of 69,000 people. Research participants were questioned on their consumption of organic food, and then monitored for five years, to see how many developed cancer. Published in the peer-reviewed medical journal JAMA Internal Medicine, the study found people who ate the most organic food had a 24 per cent reduced risk of cancer compared to those who ate the least.
