Seven Stories, the National Centre for Children’s Books, has secured an £89,000 grant to fund a twoyear scheme for young people’s engagement with literary history. The grant will fund its ‘Whose books are these anyway?’ project, which supports social impact in the north east of England and shows how children’s books have been written and produced over almost 100 years, as well as the development and testing of new digital resources for schools.
