December is, by far, my favourite month of the year (and not just because my birthday falls in it). Some people may look forward to a hot, balmy summer, but I can’t resist the excitement and sparkle that surrounds the last month of the year, and I hope we’ve injected a little of the season’s magic into this issue of Health & Wellbeing. But, it’s not all parties and presents – this time of year can actually be quite chaotic and leave even the calmest among us feeling frazzled. So, in order to side-step the seasonal stress that surrounds the festivities, we’ve compiled a 10-page
planning guide for your happiest Christmas, yet. Whether you’re after budgeting advice, get-ahead tips or delicious recipe inspo, we’ve got you covered. One person who has nailed the art of Christmas dinner prep, is our amazing cover star, Nadiya Hussain, who hails the freezer as the true hero of Christmas! Head over to page 12 where she opens up about coping with anxiety and finally finding her voice – two topics I can definitely relate to. And, as we approach the end of the year and look forward to the next, one thing is clear: 2019 has been the year we started to live more mindfully.
