■ THE Bure Valley Railway’s 1992-built G&S/Winson 2-6-4T Wroxham Broad, currently undergoing 10-year overhaul in the workshop at Aylsham, is expected to return to traffic in 2025. In mid-October work on the chassis, which has been tested under compressed air, was almost complete with attention turning to the boiler, which will have a number of the firebox stays replaced.
